Is that you flying the fixed wing ultralight?! I flew with my ex in a powered parachute for about 8 yrs; I was the navigator in charge of the GPS unit, loved it! There were wonderful take-offs, landings, and exciting touch-and-go's too :) Many good stories to tell, as I'm sure you do too.

Hey Terri - Yup, that’s me. Traded the van for the ultralight trike - back to flying after a 50 year break. Might rebrand this blog to, Taking The Low & Slow Way - if I find some stories to tell and photos to share.
It's hard to pilot and take photos, that's why I was the designated photographer when we flew, and I totally agree the low and slow way of flying is much more exciting than a regular plane. It truly does feel like being a bird :) Be careful of wind over 8 mph, only fly on fairly wind-less mornings/evenings, take care!
Back atcha! Hope you're enjoying your new incarnation as a creature of the air! You have broken the "the surly bonds of earth".

Having fun! Off to Florida later this week. See you guys in Cedar Key?
Depends on how long you stay in Florida; we plan on heading South on January 21. We'll probably take the fast way down which would put us in Cedar Key on the 23rd. BTW, are you going to Oshkosh in July?
Three months for me. So I’ll try and coordinate a visit while you’re at Cedar Key. Oshkosh or Michigan (around Traverse City) haven’t decide which.
