Todays 110 mile trek (most on gravel logging roads) near L'Anse was in search of "points". First up, Mount Arvon, elevation 1,979 feet (603 m), the highest point in Michigan.
Then it was off to Point Abbaye, another of my "end of the road" drives on a peninsula jutting into Lake Superior.
Did the gps even know that road was there?
