While we spend most of our time "off the beaten path" we occasionally venture into the big city for a little change of pace. Today, after spending several days in very remote campsites, we arrived in La Paz (pop 200,000+). Did a little grocery, got the van washed, had lunch and walked around the city center. Ops, almost forgot the stop at the ice cream shop.
