OPPS!!

This is what happens when you venture just a webit too far onto the beach.

After getting some assistance from some nearby campers (in particular the nice gentlemen with his winch equipped quad) we got back on the road and are now in El Sargento, east of LaPaz. This area is a hotspot for kitesurfing - and we're getting a good look at the action from our campground.

You'all got stuck on purpose to test your survival skills, eh? That waterfall is the prettiest I've seen in awhile, could you swim in the nature pool? Visibility underwater?

Always good to stay in practice! Water was crystal clear and cool - waterfall was the shower for the campground.
You don't seem to be learning very quickly about the limits of a heavy Van in soft sand... ;-)
Thanks for sharing, and pushing the limits.

Always was a slow learner. Plus, Don need the exercise he gets digging us out.
Thank goodness for friendly people who will help at time of need.
Looks like you've really pushed the Promaster's offroad capabilities to (or beyond!) the limits. With all your travels have you found the low hanging rear axle clearance to be the problem?

And thanks for all the great photos and trip ideas!

It (the rear axle) has been banged several time - but has never gotten hung up on anything. So far it (rear clearance) has not been a big issue.
