Just Wandering

Surprisingly, now that I'm back from the wilderness it's been tougher for me to find a good wifi connection - go figure. Anyway, here are a few pictures to let you know I'm still out here.

Interesting pictures and information. It is amazing that you were able to get WIFI in those back country areas. What is growing in the white pails with the holes? I thought it could be mushrooms. Thanks again for the info and pictures.

Yup - those are Oyster mushrooms. They get three crops from each bucket over a 10 week cycle. Taste darn good too!

I also love fried mushrooms and onions. Don't know if I have ever had Oyster mushrooms. How did you have them cooked?

The ones I tried (and bought) are already cooked - so you can use them in anything that needs mushrooms. Also bought some spaghetti sauce and a relish. Good stuff.
