A "cruise control day" - just over 200 miles and all of it was on asphalt that was pothole free! Still not much to do, but I did manage one short hike before the bugs chased me back to the van.
In Goose Bay I had a nice lakeside campsite, and it was free - courtesy of the city at a park just outside town. While there, I visited the Labrador Interperative Center. I always find these type places interesting and always come away with at least one little trivia item - this time it was that Labrador has been passed back and forth between Quebec and Newfoundland several times, and depending on the political winds there are still arguments over the provincial boundaries today. Next to the Center I walked around Sunday Hill, it was a nice sunny day in the low 70s. That's about it to report, although I did have a very good steak and egg breakfast in town before I hit the road.
