Thought I was back in Alaska
The Lupin are a blooming
Lunch stop and I scored some smoked trout for later
REI is where I buy a lot of my travel/camping stuff. This was their special events team enroute to a festival in Vermont

VERY NICE PICTURES AS USUAL. YOU ARE RIGHT THAT PLANE BY THE WATER LOOKED LIKE SOME OF THE PICTURES FROM ALASKA. STAY SAFE AND KEEP THOSE PICTURES COMING. THANK YOU.

Many of the "ponds" in Maine are accessible by plane or on foot; most people would not be willing to "bushwhack" for miles to get to one on foot. Many Maniacs hunt/fish these wilderness ponds hence the planes.

Yup - Maine reminds me of Alaska, just without the mountains.
