Victoria

After three days enjoying Victoria, we boarded the MV Coho for a short trip across the strait to Port Angeles, Washington.

Victoria is a relatively small city, at 70,000, but this provincial capital feels bigger and more sophisticated than similar sized cities we've visited. A very walkable waterfront, great parks, and multicultural makeup (the second oldest Chinatown in North America is here) made it both interesting and fun. Highlights - we visited the Royal BC Museum, the Butchant Botanical Gardens (this place truly deserves its world class reputation) toured the Parliament Building, road our first water taxi, and did plenty of walking.

The buidings in Victoria were great to see. And the gardens look so beautiful for this time of the year. Safe travel back to the lower 48.
Thank you for the great pictures.
I tried to check Mapshare but it hasn't come up for me.
Welcome back to the lower 48! Heard that there was a record-breaking snow up where you just left.
