Welcome To Alaska (again)

After the fair in Palmer we headed to Haines which is in southeast Alaska at the northern end of the inside passage. Haines is one of three towns (the others, Hyder and Skagway) in this part of Alaska that you can actually reach by road - the hitch, you need to leave Alaska enter Canada (Yukon Territory and British Colmbia) then back into Alaska. Nice drive, but we had two time zone charges, the currency change and two boarder crossings to deal with.

Then back into Alaska.

I check Mapshare and saw all the changes you had to make and I understood what you wrote here. The second picture looked like a total different scene I have seen. How in the world did you get those pictures of the squirrels? Great. Thank you and Safe travels.
