Seeing The Sights

We've spent the last two days in Banff, Alberta (and Bnaff National Park) a gorgeous mountain area, which is also the birthplace of Canada's national park system. We hiked (of course), visited two museums, a National Historic Site (which included a cave and hot spring), had a couple of good meals, saw some wildlife, and road a gondola to a mountain top. Busy, and we actually had some good weather with sun.

Hey Darryl - Heading to Jasper today, then West. Going via the Cassier Hwy instead of the Alcan. Banff was a little busy, but everywhere else we have been ahead of the crowd. Have a safe trip.
You really did a lot in 2 days. and I am surprised to see this at 3:45PM EST. because I believe it is a 3 hour difference. The scenry behind the wild goats is great. And you got good pictures of the gondolas. I see Don out there taking a picture and there is a great scene behind him. This has been a pleasure to be able to see all on the blog. Thank you.
Great pictures guys! From the looks of it, all the snow is gone from those high latitudes, right?

A few roads still closed. A lot of trails still closed because of snow.
