Out West

No great tale to tell (ie: neither of us did anything really dumb today) on our second day in Oklahoma. Got in a 3 mile hike which included a walk around the little town of Sulphur. This area is loaded with history, so tomorrow it looks like we'll vist a couple of information centers so we can better appreciate the area. Exciting to be out West - you can sense and see that things are different than our usual stomping grounds back East.

Steve, I do have one burning question. What is the difference between a hike and a walk?

We've been trying to figure that out. As best as I can determine - when Don wears his boots its a hike, any other footwear makes it a walk.
But, is the West really wild?

Not yet, but give us a few more days and it will be.
THE REASON FOR YOUR TRIP IS TO SEE THE VIEWS OF THE STATES AND NOT ALL STATES WILL HAVE IMPRESSIVE VIEWS. BUT IT IS GREAT JUST TO SEE WHAT YOU AND DON ARE DOING.
NOT ALL STATES HAVE THE GREAT VIEWS BUT IT IS STILL GREAT TO SEE YOU AND DON ON THE LONG ROAD. IT IS AMAZING WHAT YOU ARE DOING. BEST WISHES.
