Mountain Backroads

Spent the day on some beautiful backroads - from outside Fort Collins, Colorado we took the long way to Laramie, Wyoming. The roads were clear but still plenty of snow on the mountains as we climbed to over 10,000 feet at Cameron Pass.

Thanks for sharing the adventure.
:) Oh no. Many thanks to both You and Steve. These are gorgeous pictures of our country and, for many of us, we will never see.
How did the van do at those altitudes?

No problem so far, very pleased. 5000rpm = 50mph. Suspect it would be screaming a little if you needed to use an interstate and keep up with traffic - but no problem for us, with just over 4000 miles we haven't been on an interstate yet. 17mpg so far.
GREAT PICTURES, I WONDER HOW OLD THE LOG CABIN COULD BE?
You are really going throug the wild weather in the middle of the country while the west is so dry that the aminals are coming int to towns looking for water.
Janie " If you have a microwave like they do, you don't need the campfire.
