End Of The Road

In the Georgia boondocks for the night. The Backroader is right at home. Not much else to say.

Hello! Are you in a campground, or is that simply a place along a back road?

Old (not used) access road for logging operation. I'm 200 feet off US19. Lots of these "campsites" if you have the right kind of vehicle. Best part, it's free.
Steve, do you snoop around until you find one, or do you have a "system" for finding these places?

I just keep my eyes open and if I see a little turnoff that looks promising I give it a try. Super easy if you're in a National Forest - just ask a Ranger where the "dispersed " campsites are.. It does become easier with experience and I've only been told that I needed to.move on once - I spent too long in a bank parking lot and security tapped on the window.
